That elusive split: achieving flexibility!

That elusive split isn't as hard as you think it is! Just a few minutes of gentle stretching each day and relaxing the muscles instead of forcing them, taking the time to allow your muscles to lower you to the floor and voila, you have it! It's true that some people are far more flexible than others, but most dancers can achieve a split with a little bit of time each day and patience. Once you hit the floor, other skills become easier! Ready, set, stretch!
