Samantha receives 10 year award and dances in her first recital on pointe

Samantha Chesney began dancing at Earth Dancer as a 3 year old toddler in the Les Petites ballet class. This year she was honored with two awards at the "Sweet & Sassy" recital 2018.

She received an award for her first year pointe performance and a trophy for ten years of dancing at the Earth Dancer School.

In 10 years she has taken a wide variety of dance classes and workshops, performed for years with the Free Spirits Dance Company and had the lead role of "Gretel" in Hansel and Gretel.

Samantha performed Ballet, Pointe Tap, Jazz and Tumbling in this year's recital and was beaming when she received the 10 year trophy she worked hard all year for.

Family and friends cheered from the audience and called for an encore, which she and her partner Jordyn, gave after the end-of-year certificate ceremony.

Congratulations Samantha! You're wished a lifetime of joyful dancing and happy memories!
