The Democrats need to get moving on protecting this state from a fossil fuel future!
Pipeline opposition is almost exclusively from Republicans. While that support is genuinely needed, pipeline opponents must reach out to Democrats as well, mending connections by talking about climate action and clean energy.
To look only to Republicans for action on this will keep us on a divided road and in fact, deepen the democratic resolve towards inaction. We are pushing dems away by such a strong one-party focus. We need their support.
