🔸CALLING SCRIPT

Your call will be answered by an aide or voicemail

"Hello, my name is ______________ and I live in _________ (NH town). I am calling today because I read Senator Fuller Clark's quote on a Liberty Utilities Granite Bridge Pipeline advertisement.

In your quote, you acknowledge climate change, while endorsing fossil fuel expansion. I would like the Senator to know that methane, fracked gas, is a greenhouse gas that is 86 times more potent than carbon dioxide. Last year, Liberty Utilities pipelines leaked 2.2% of their gas into the atmosphere last year and ratepayers paid for that, not the utility.

Clean energy is not just the future, it's now. I respectfully ask that you rescind your support of the Granite Bridge Pipeline and LNG tank and instead, ask Governor Sununu to request a federal task force to study offshore wind in the Gulf of Maine. We can't wait. The time is now.

Thank you."

🔸EMAIL SCRIPT

"Dear Senator Fuller Clark,

I read your quote supporting Liberty Utilities Granite Bridge Pipeline in a Facebook advertisement and felt compelled to respond because clean energy is not just the future, it's now.

In your quote, you acknowledge climate change, while endorsing fossil fuel expansion. I am sure that Liberty Utilities was very convincing in promising reduced carbon emissions. Did you know that fracked gas, is methane, a greenhouse gas that is 86 times more potent than carbon dioxide?

Last year, Liberty Utilities pipelines leaked 2.2% of their gas into the atmosphere last year and ratepayers paid for that, not the utility. That's devastating to our climate and therefore, NH's tourism economy, skiing, maple trees, maple syrup and wildlife.

I respectfully ask that you rescind your support of Granite Bridge Pipeline and LNG tank, and instead, ask Governor Sununu to request a federal task force to study offshore wind in the Gulf of Maine. We can't wait. The time is now.

Respectfully,

______________ (your name)

______________ (your town)"
