Open enrollment for 2018 Affordable Care Act (ACA / Obamacare) starts November 1st and ends December 15th.
The Trump administration has reduced the advertising funds to let the public know about open enrollment by 90%. That could be devastating for those who desperately need it or may in the coming year. It could also provide the desired result in suggesting the people chose not to enroll.
Employees have been instructed to not participate in meet-ups to help agencies and providers get the word out. We need to help each other to gain access to the healthcare provided by law.
* You may want to mark your calendar and add reminders to it. With the limitations, the system could be difficult to access and may take repeated attempts to accomplish enrollment.
