Those that support pipelines like to call us "outsiders" and "out-of-towners". The truth is that we're on the inside.
We've been fighting pipelines since 2014 and Granite Bridge towns are not the only targets of Liberty Utilities. Keene, Lebanon, Hanover and other regions are fighting back too.
Keene City Councilor Terry Clark has put out a call to action to Keene residents. We also encourage Monadnock Region residents to weigh in as what happens in Keene impacts the entire region.

"Liberty Utilities, the company that proposes to drill a gas pipeline under the Ashuelot River in Keene, has paid $54,500 in fines in just the past two years for violations issued by the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission. The violations included missing required pipeline infrastructure inspections in 2015, skipping pipeline inspections in its Southern Division altogether in 2016 and failing to fix leaks in a timely manner.
Do we want a company with this safety record building a gas pipeline in Keene? The proposal is expected to come before the Keene City Council in November. Contact your councilors and urge them to vote NO!

Keene City Councilor & Cheshire County Treasurer
