Representatives from around Southern NH attended a roundtable discussion at the Nashua Public Library on Wednesday evening, November 2nd.

Steve Marchand (former candidate for Governor) and Dan Weeks (candidate for Executive Council) joined ECHO Action team members, pipeline opposition and candidates for office to discuss the future of energy in the Granite State.

Topics discussed included the NED pipeline, Concord Steam, the Northern Pass, NH offshore wind and RGGI legislation. The group talked about energy options, climate, how to educate, communicate and work across party lines to protect NH and its citizens.

All agreed that this would be the first of meetings to discuss NH's energy needs and that meetings should be held at intervals as needed.

Thank you Laura Lynch & Anne DiCicco for organizing the meeting and to Mary Beth Raven for moderating. The following were in attendance:

Pat Martin

Stephanie Scherr

Julia Steed Mawson

Ken Lynch

Gwen Whitbeck

Henri Vaillancourt

Peggy Gilmour

Bev Edwards

Jessica Ayala
