Have you been reading about how Earth has reached 400 ppm of carbon and it is likely that we will never turn back? Our oceans are the biggest carbon sink on Earth and they're suffering from ocean acidification due to the absorption of carbon. It changes the pH of the water as well as making it difficult for shelled organisms to build the shells they need for life and protection.
